The past 2 years we have been resident managers at an apartment complex. We have encountered all different sides of people from good to bad to crazy to criminal. And now that our 2 years are up, we won't miss a thing. I learned how to be a little more aggressive when dealing with people who try and skirt around their responsiblities, which may be slightly helpful when dealing with teenagers, who knows we will find out. And now we move.
So far the packing has gone ok. This is the last day of real packing, and I am having a difficult time trying to motivate myself to finish (as you can tell, since I am writing this blog instead). I can't believe how completely excited I am to move! I don't enjoy packing and physically moving things to our new home, but I can not wait until I get to unpack everything and organize away! I absolutely love organizing. I am pretty sure Deiter is going to dislike the next few days as I arrange and re-arrange the furniture (not that we have a lot).
In our new home, my son is going to grow up! He is going to learn how to sit, stand, and walk. His first memories will be there. I am so excited for the next chapter in life. We will see what struggles deiter and I face then and how our past experiences help us overcome them.
